Below
I have listed some writing prompts taken from old western film titles.
At the museum where I work, I have been creating an inventory of film
stills in a particular collection. This inventory consists of only the
film titles of the film stills since they are organized by the lead
actors. So far I have inventoried Tim McCoy, Buck Jones, Hoot Gibson,
Kenneth Maynard, and William S. Hart. These are a few of the titles I
thought might work as writing prompts because of the imagery or ideas
they convey. Take a few minutes to skim over them and follow one if it
leads you down a trail of words.
